I think that Lt. Adnan did not surrender upon capture as he will remain loyal to his country forever.As his motto is "Death Before Dishonour"
and he would rather get torture to death and not to dishonour his country.

Adnan Bin Saidi of the Malay Regiment led the fight against the Japanese at Pasir Panjang.Heavily outnumbered,he fought gallantly but was later captured and brutally killed by the Japanese.He was a very loyal and brave man who always had self-confidence and never gave up.His motto for his ment was 'Death Before Dishonour'.In my opinion every soldier should lead their team like how he did.

i think that Lt.Adnan is very strong and brave because he killed many japanese soldiers and he never surrender when they stab him until he died.

To me, Lt.Adnan was a brave and loyal soilder, although his ammo was all out, but he still did not surrender upon his enemy. He use his knife and his fist to fight one-on-one on the enemy as well as his comrade. Although they have lost and been capture by the japanese, but Lt.Adnan did not show his weekness to his enemy, yamashita. Before he die, yamashita called Lt.Adnan to strip of his uniform. but Lt.Adnan refuse. Because he don want to disgrase his uniform and his country Because they fight in there uniform and die in there uniform.
